CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Come and enjoy the vast scientific experiences here on campus while also enjoying the fun and active environment of camp. During this week, the children will have an opportunity to dabble in many different scientific experiences. These experiences will range from classification of the plants on campus to the physics of our playground equipment. The children will spend each morning enjoying a team building activity, a short lesson on the topic of the day, free play, and even some sports. In the afternoon, the children will spend time participating in a hands on activity that will correlate with the morning’s lesson.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Brimmer and May Day Camp is specifically designed with the younger child in mind. Our goal is to enrich your child's summer experience through play, success, and engagement with other children and with our committed staff. All of our Head Counselors and Specialty Counselors are over 21 years old and most specialize in early childhood education and development. Every day each child from 3 to 10 years old will do a variety of activities: Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, Drama, Lego, Clay, Nature, Swimming.

Every child at Brimmer and May Day Camp swims every day in our heated pool and no one needs to come to camp knowing how to swim. We will teach your child how to swim!

Our Specialty Programs are taught by Brimmer and May faculty who have designed their program to enhance your child's summer learning in a creative way. They will be encouraged to attempt new things, test themselves and learn new stuff! They will get an hour of free swim in our heated pool every day.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Counselor-in-Training program at Brimmer and May will provide an opportunity for students entering ninth and tenth grade to teach and work with younger campers as apprentice counselors while learning the ropes. CITs (also known as Campers-in-Transition) are under the supervision and direction of experienced professional staff. CITs will get an opportunity to work with each age group, and when appropriate, be asked to lead activities. Weekly meetings provide feedback and guidance throughout the summer.

CIT applicants must be available for the full camp day (8:15-4:15 p.m.) and can select either a full summer (all 8 weeks of the program) or either of two four-week sessions (first or second half of summer). CIT's are also required to attend pre-camp staff orientation.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Active Learning Services, Ltd operates enrichment programs designed to stimulate creative thinking, improve thinking, logic and memory skills and give children "thinking alternatives" to sports camps and other summer programs. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SPOTLIGHT aims to engage today's youth in the discovery of theatre's many components. In an exciting, non-competitive, fun filled environment, we strive to enrich appreciation for Theater Arts through education, creativity, and passion. Participants receive theatre arts training both on stage and backstage which strives to foster each individual's talents and aspirations with an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth.

THE SPOTLIGHT THEATER WORKSHOP was designed not only to be a lot of fun, but to also focus on strengthening the skills of our participants and teaching them new and exciting elements involved in the performing arts. Some of our classes will include acting, singing, dancing, technical theater, improv, and auditioning skills. Also, we're very excited about incorporating film/television acting and production into the workshop!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The faculty consists of renowned lecturers, veterans in International Mathematical Olympiads (IMO) and Olympiad coaches, who have successful careers in math, science, and technology, with many years of classroom teaching experiences. Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. CAMP FACILITIES: Lawrence Academy is a private boarding high school that offers summer programs. The campus has a swimming pool, 12 tennis courts, 3 indoor basketball courts, 8 athletic fields, a theater, dining hall, and numerous indoor air conditioned spaces. Summer programs are open to ages 3.5-17.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The 100-acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 30 day camp offerings for children entering grades K–12 and an overnight English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French immersion program for American and international students. CAMP FACILITIES: The academic environment at Wheelock provides an appropriate facility for scientific experiments. Perhaps just as importantly, it also gives students an introduction to college life. One afternoon of camp will include a tour of Wheelock's classrooms, resource center, dorm rooms, library, theater, campus store, dining hall, and other campus buildings. Students will also have an opportunity to speak with undergraduates and faculty from Wheelock and faculty from other institutions throughout the Colleges of the Fenway, as well as members of the Academic Advising and Admissions offices.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: At MehtA+, we ignite student passion for engineering. Our offerings are catered towards students from Kindergarten to College Freshman and involve a fusion of the humanities and the sciences. We believe the best way to learn something is to apply it and as such, all of our opportunities are application-based.

Our bootcamps give students an in-depth opportunity to learn concepts that are normally taught at the university level, while our workshops serve as a fantastic introduction to a new subject. In order to make engineering education more accessible, our digital kits are always free to everyone and allow students to create something awesome. Volunteerships are offered to former students who are looking to volunteer their time and apply what they have learned for social good, as they intern for one of our clients.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T. (Counselor In Training Program): The C.I.T. program gives our most mature campers, who are entering the 8th and 9th grades, a feel for what it take to be a counselor, while still having the opportunity to participate in all of the great activities at Maplewood.

In their role as a Maplewood C.I.T. they will have the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence that will help them to become effective leaders and positive role models.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. You will be responsible for leading groups of children through their daily activities. Applicant will also be responsible for supervising other staff members. Individuals must have prior experience working with children.

If you enjoy working with children; the outdoors; environments that are rewarding and challenging then this is the job for you. Camp dates are June 29-August 21. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. Past field trips have included: MIT General Campus Tours, Visiting Media Lab on CampusBoston Science Museum (Tickets NOT included)Visiting Google or Microsoft Office, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), and other tech related companies or departments.

Camp is for children 10-17 years old of all programming abilities.
We will group children together by age and ability.
No previous knowledge of programming is required.
Sessions will consist of 14 to 45 children with no higher than a 1-7 instructor-student ratio.
