Campers of nearly any skill level can have fun building circuit boards, and even making a very simple computer inside Minecraft. As they master Redstone skills, we offer challenges that teach key concepts in programming, design, electrical engineering, and architecture, all while using teamwork and social skills. CAMP FACILITIES: We have outdoor picnic groves, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a baseball diamond and soccer field. Through the woods there is a high and low ropes course and an archery range. Our pool allows us to swim rain or shine, and we have a large gym, several racquetball courts, and an indoor climbing wall.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Youth who are eager to learn, develop and enhance their leadership skills in the camp setting, apply to be C.I.T.s. These future counselors train in daily sessions: covering many areas such as effective listening, peer relationships, role modeling and programming.

C.I.T.s work with different age groups learning developmental stages and finding their preferred age group. As a group project, the C.I.T.s will plan and implement a camp-wide carnival.

The C.I.T. program includes a 5-day, 4-night recreational trip to Club Getaway in Kent, CT, from July 15 - July 19. Teens will bond as a group and enjoy boating, rock climbing, group challenge activities, trapeze, giant swing and evening socials. Each applicant is interviewed after registering.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. Past field trips have included: MIT General Campus Tours, Visiting Media Lab on CampusBoston Science Museum (Tickets NOT included)Visiting Google or Microsoft Office, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), and other tech related companies or departments.

Camp is for children 10-17 years old of all programming abilities.
We will group children together by age and ability.
No previous knowledge of programming is required.

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. Participants who complete an hour of online summer learning activities each day will unlock secret animated webisodes that hold the clues to the globe’s whereabouts. CAMP FACILITIES: The academic environment at Wheelock provides an appropriate facility for scientific experiments. Perhaps just as importantly, it also gives students an introduction to college life. One afternoon of camp will include a tour of Wheelock's classrooms, resource center, dorm rooms, library, theater, campus store, dining hall, and other campus buildings. Students will also have an opportunity to speak with undergraduates and faculty from Wheelock and faculty from other institutions throughout the Colleges of the Fenway, as well as members of the Academic Advising and Admissions offices.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: STEM in the City is run by an outstanding team of education professionals from Wheelock College, led by Dr. Ellen Faszewski, Wheelock College professor of biology and co-chair of the Math and Science Department. The team also includes college student counselors, as well as Wheelock staff and faculty.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers enjoy the JCC's air-conditioned, professional theater, art and dance studios, science classrooms, an indoor pool for lessons, and a zero-entry outdoor pool for free swim. Additionally, campers enjoy a dedicated gaga pit, outdoor ping pong and foosball tables, tennis courts, fields, woods, trails, and access to the Charles River. Campers may bring a vegetarian or fish lunch, or pre-order lunch from our on-site kosher caterer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Kaleidoscope is dedicated to making camp a fun, nurturing, educational experience for each camper. Staff include well-trained bunk counselors ages 18 and up who work with groups of campers daily, and professional teachers who lead classes. Programming is organized into two four-week sessions, with flexible registration options. Registration minimum is two weeks.

All campers swim daily, with lessons offered twice weekly with our professional aquatics staff, utilizing the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy methods. Each session culminates in "Arts Night," including art and science exhibits, musical performances from lower and middle camp groups, and a fully realized musical from upper campers.

Lower campers entering grades K & 1 enjoy a balanced day of arts, science, and sports activities with caring, inclusive counselors and specialists. Middle campers entering grades 2 & 3 follow a schedule of diverse activities with their groups and enjoy "choice times" when they individually choose activities. Upper Campers in grades 4-8 design their own programs, choosing activities weekly, including theater, art, music, dance, boating and more. Upper Campers who elect to be in the musical attend for a full, 4-week session. All campers attending weeks 4 and/or 8 participate in "Arts Night", showcasing their art and science projects, and performing for parents and friends.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITs in grades 9-11 are an integral part of camp, providing leadership and receiving training while also pursuing their own interests. They create their own schedule under the guidance of dedicated CIT staff. They spend approximately half the day assisting camper groups or activities, and half the day pursuing their own interests. CITs pay a reduced rate.

Specialists teach classes daily culminating in art and science exhibits and performances at the end of each four-week session. Specialists are college graduates or rising seniors with teaching and/or other relevant experience. Competitive salary. Parents on staff full-time send their children to camp for free!

Counselors
Seeking mature, reliable, patient people who understand what it takes to make a camper's day a wonderful experience. JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp is a pluralistic camp welcoming the entire community. While camp is not easily accessible by public transportation, bus counselor positions are available from Framingham and Brookline. Counselors must be 18 years of age or older or high school graduates with demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with children. All counselors must be available for the full eight-week season.

Lower and Middle Camp Counselors work in pairs or groups of three and are responsible for a group of 10-15 campers entering grades K-3. They support and nurture campers throughout the day as campers attend activities in the arts, science, sports and swimming. Middle camp counselors may also assist in other areas throughout camp.

Upper Camp Counselors work with campers entering grades 4-8. They teach or assist in classes, activities and theatrical productions. Positions include: tennis and other sports teachers, costumer, assistant tech director for shows, guitar and piano teachers, boating specialists (lifeguard certification required), and crafts teachers. Upper Camp teaching counselors should have completed at least one year of college.

CAMP FACILITIES: The camp is held on Cape Cod Academy's beautiful 46-acre campus with access and use of all of the school's facilities including tennis courts, fields, wooded trails, an outdoor heated swimming pool, air conditioned classrooms and gymnasiums.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Tabor Academy Summer Program Counselor-In-Training Program is looking for responsible past campers interested in gaining leadership experience through classroom work and hands-on experiences in addition to activity based knowledge. CAMP FACILITIES: College and university campuses deliver an at college experience for your child with technologically equipped classrooms, and inviting, landscaped outdoor spaces. We embrace the outdoors whether it is to launch rockets, build bridges, loose trebuchets, explore coastal waters, whale watch, model the inner solar system, use telescopes, play team games, collect samples, make observations, or operate a hydraulic machine.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: • Build a bridge.
• Design, model, simulate, build, test, and fly a model rocket.
• Understand basic optics and then assemble a refractor telescope.
• Learn to observe and record your observations.
• Code and fly that code with a drone.
• Learn about 3D printers, design objects, prepare them, print them and assess the results.
• Team build a catapult and then use it outside to hit a mock castle wall.
• Collect and prepare samples for viewing under a microscope.

Our instructors are engineers, scientists and/or scholars with knowledge and experience in the program they are leading. They also are passionate about sharing applied science and engineering with young people.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Rising 10th to 12th-grade students may apply for our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. CITs participate fully in the program they choose. They also help out the Instructor and participate in ongoing program evaluation and improvement. This is like a first-time job experience for most youth. They will learn what it takes to be an effective employee.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SPOTLIGHT aims to engage today's youth in the discovery of theatre's many components. In an exciting, non-competitive, fun filled environment, we strive to enrich appreciation for Theater Arts through education, creativity, and passion. Participants receive theatre arts training both on stage and backstage which strives to foster each individual's talents and aspirations with an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth.

THE SPOTLIGHT THEATER WORKSHOP was designed not only to be a lot of fun, but to also focus on strengthening the skills of our participants and teaching them new and exciting elements involved in the performing arts. Some of our classes will include acting, singing, dancing, technical theater, improv, and auditioning skills. Also, we're very excited about incorporating film/television acting and production into the workshop!

Monologues will also be worked on during class time so that upon completion of the program, participants will be comfortable using their pieces at auditions in the future. There will also be many outdoor activities, free time, and special guests!

Each weekday morning, Maker will post a new project or activity on their Google+ page—30 things to make over six weeks. Each weekday afternoon at 2 PM, tune in to a live Google+ Hangout On Air to meet expert makers who create amazing things.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our 55 acre campus houses numerous athletic fields, an outdoor pool, archery range, auditorium, tennis courts, and numerous buildings for our specialist activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our dedicated and qualified staff provide daily fun and exciting activities for our campers. We have 6 specialists that lead campers in exciting and age-appropriate activities. Our specialists include Arts and Crafts, Sports, Music and Drama, Archery/Outdoor Education, STEM, and Special Events. Our Special Events Specialist leads our campers in unique activities each day, from 20 foot slip and slides, to bounce houses, to our weekly variety show.

Our camp is able to provide Red Cross Certified Swim Lessons 4 times a week to our K-5 campers. Our certified trained staff of lifeguards provide swim lessons that target the individual needs your child to help them swim.

Lincoln Summer Camp is a Kindergarten – 8th grade day camp that will run from July 3rd – August 11th. Campers’ days will be filled with singing, cheering, swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music and drama, gymnastics, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), as well as daily special events and weekly field trips. We are seeking employers for the following positions:

• Counselors for our Kindergarten – 5th grade camp.

• Counselors for our traveling 6th – 8th grade camp (must be 18 years or older).
