CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. CAMP FACILITIES: Our 55 acre campus houses numerous athletic fields, an outdoor pool, archery range, auditorium, tennis courts, and numerous buildings for our specialist activities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Lawrence Academy is a private boarding high school that offers summer programs. The campus has a swimming pool, 12 tennis courts, 3 indoor basketball courts, 8 athletic fields, a theater, dining hall, and numerous indoor air conditioned spaces. Summer programs are open to ages 3.5-17.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The 100-acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 30 day camp offerings for children entering grades K–12 and an overnight English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French immersion program for American and international students. CAMP FACILITIES: At 200 feet, the Oliver Hazard Perry is the first ocean-going full-rigged ship to be built in the U.S. in over 100 years. It is the largest civilian sail training vessel in America. She has berths for 49 people overnight, and with 17 crew, a low camper to crew ratio creates a safe and fun environment. The ship is equipped with a steel hull, 3 masts, with square sails on all three masts, 20 sails totaling 14,000 square feet, and 7 miles of rope and wire. The engines run on a bio-diesel blend, and the ship is equipped with a modern galley (on-board kitchen), central air, an on-deck science lab, a library and wheel-chair accessibility above and below decks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With 17 professional crew and a capacity for 30-34 campers, our program promotes a dynamic and safe learning environment with a 2:1 ratio of campers to instructors. Campers will feel the thrill of steering a 500-ton ship, and learn to work the yards and sails while exploring the beautiful coasts of New England. They will learn safety at sea and perform important safety drills while acquiring skills in navigation, seamanship, sail handling, knots, and the language of the boat. Campers will explore the underwater world through snorkeling. They will understand wind, waves, tides and the ecology of sandy and rocky seashores. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky will serve as the backdrop for this incredible experience, in addition to marine phosphorescence, dolphins and whales. Teamwork is an integral part of success onboard the boat, and in addition to learning about themselves, and achieving things they never imagined, they will make friendships to last a lifetime.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: In addition to witnessing the natural magic of the ocean and its inhabitants, each student crew will make friendships to last a lifetime. Campers will take responsibility for themselves and their fellow shipmates, learning to work as a team with others as they hoist and brace the yards on the ship's 130-foot tall rig and apply acquired navigational skills to guide the ship's course on a voyage of discovery.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers enjoy the JCC's air-conditioned, professional theater, art and dance studios, science classrooms, an indoor pool for lessons, and a zero-entry outdoor pool for free swim. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Kaleidoscope is dedicated to making camp a fun, nurturing, educational experience for each camper. Staff include well-trained bunk counselors ages 18 and up who work with groups of campers daily, and professional teachers who lead classes. Programming is organized into two four-week sessions, with flexible registration options. Registration minimum is two weeks.

All campers swim daily, with lessons offered twice weekly with our professional aquatics staff, utilizing the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy methods. Each session culminates in "Arts Night," including art and science exhibits, musical performances from lower and middle camp groups, and a fully realized musical from upper campers.

Lower campers entering grades K & 1 enjoy a balanced day of arts, science, and sports activities with caring, inclusive counselors and specialists. Middle campers entering grades 2 & 3 follow a schedule of diverse activities with their groups and enjoy "choice times" when they individually choose activities. Upper Campers in grades 4-8 design their own programs, choosing activities weekly, including theater, art, music, dance, boating and more. Upper Campers who elect to be in the musical attend for a full, 4-week session. All campers attending weeks 4 and/or 8 participate in "Arts Night", showcasing their art and science projects, and performing for parents and friends.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITs in grades 9-11 are an integral part of camp, providing leadership and receiving training while also pursuing their own interests. They create their own schedule under the guidance of dedicated CIT staff. They spend approximately half the day assisting camper groups or activities, and half the day pursuing their own interests. Counselors
Seeking mature, reliable, patient people who understand what it takes to make a camper's day a wonderful experience. JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp is a pluralistic camp welcoming the entire community. While camp is not easily accessible by public transportation, bus counselor positions are available from Framingham and Brookline. Counselors must be 18 years of age or older or high school graduates with demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with children. All counselors must be available for the full eight-week season.

Lower and Middle Camp Counselors work in pairs or groups of three and are responsible for a group of 10-15 campers entering grades K-3. They support and nurture campers throughout the day as campers attend activities in the arts, science, sports and swimming. Middle camp counselors may also assist in other areas throughout camp.

Upper Camp Counselors work with campers entering grades 4-8. They teach or assist in classes, activities and theatrical productions. Positions include: tennis and other sports teachers, costumer, assistant tech director for shows, guitar and piano teachers, boating specialists (lifeguard certification required), and crafts teachers. Upper Camp teaching counselors should have completed at least one year of college.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Come and enjoy the vast scientific experiences here on campus while also enjoying the fun and active environment of camp. During this week, the children will have an opportunity to dabble in many different scientific experiences. These experiences will range from classification of the plants on campus to the physics of our playground equipment. The children will spend each morning enjoying a team building activity, a short lesson on the topic of the day, free play, and even some sports. In the afternoon, the children will spend time participating in a hands on activity that will correlate with the morning’s lesson.

CAMP FACILITIES: 170 acres, 2 lakes and a heated pool, new dining hall, large gymnastics center, clay and hard tennis courts, art center, science center, theater, 20 cabins, large level camp.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Emerson is a premiere, overnight summer camp for girls & boys age 7-15. Campers design their own programs from 50+ activities including: athletics, visual arts, performing arts, watersports, swimming in a heated pool, wilderness and our Step Beyond Program - cooking, science, movie making, rocketry, CO2 race cars, engineering and More! We are known for our exceptional staff who give personal attention to each child. Emerson campers are creative, intelligent and kind. CAMP FACILITIES: We have outdoor picnic groves, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a baseball diamond and soccer field. Through the woods there is a high and low ropes course and an archery range. Our pool allows us to swim rain or shine, and we have a large gym, several racquetball courts, and an indoor climbing wall.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Youth who are eager to learn, develop and enhance their leadership skills in the camp setting, apply to be C.I.T.s. These future counselors train in daily sessions: covering many areas such as effective listening, peer relationships, role modeling and programming.

C.I.T.s work with different age groups learning developmental stages and finding their preferred age group. As a group project, the C.I.T.s will plan and implement a camp-wide carnival.

The C.I.T. program includes a 5-day, 4-night recreational trip to Club Getaway in Kent, CT, from July 15 - July 19. Teens will bond as a group and enjoy boating, rock climbing, group challenge activities, trapeze, giant swing and evening socials. Each applicant is interviewed after registering.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Active Learning Services, Ltd operates enrichment programs designed to stimulate creative thinking, improve thinking, logic and memory skills and give children "thinking alternatives" to sports camps and other summer programs. Our programs include chess programs and camps thru USA Chess, Our Gamebuilder Video Game Creation Programs and our Active Learning Computer Enrichment Programs.

Our staff is, comprised of the best children's chess instructors in North America! The USA Chess camps are uniquely qualified to cater to the needs of the advanced scholastic player as well as the true beginner. USA Chess hit its first milestone in the summer of 2000 producing the largest chess camp ever held in the United States, with more than 250 students enrolled. What was most surprising, however, was the amount of absolute beginners in attendance - more than 50% of the total enrollment was just starting to play chess. This realization led to the national rollout tour of 100 camps in more than 70 cities. The annual tours have been immensely successful with several thousand campers attending this year alone.

USA Chess thrives on providing a structured environment that is extremely conducive to learning chess. We handpick the best children's chess instructors from all over the United States and bring them to each camp. We believe our team is most effective in teaching chess to children of all ages and levels. The exceptional organization and ever-fun curriculum has fueled much interest from scholastic players and coaches from around the country, prompting them to request USA Chess camps in their areas.

At the same summer camp locations, we also offer the immensely popular Gamebuilder Video Game Creation Camps, The Active Learning Computer Animation Programs, and other Computer Enrichment Programs such as Modding, Networking and Hosting with Minecraft. We now offer seven unique programs in all.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Tabor Academy Summer Program Counselor-In-Training Program is looking for responsible past campers interested in gaining leadership experience through classroom work and hands-on experiences in addition to activity based knowledge. All skills learned during the summer(s) as a CIT will be applicable not only if the participant becomes a counselor at the Summer Program but also in any future endeavors where working with others is crucial.Counselors-in-Training must be able to reflect on their experiences throughout the summer and be willing to push themselves out of their comfort zone. CAMP FACILITIES: We are a 32 room facility with classrooms, comfortable individual and group therapy spaces, a breakfast room, a living room for morning meeting, as well as a Nurse's office.

There is also an outdoor play space, garden, and an outdoor pool, basketball court, and a gym/fitness center. We also have use of 500 acres of conservation land for learning and fitness.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy was established in 1975, to provide a camp-like atmosphere where boys, ages 6-18 have a program where they can flourish with summer activities, and still maintain the skills that they have been learning throughout the school year.

Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy has grown to be a full year program. Reed Academy, the 12 month program is dedicated to helping boys with social and emotional needs. The highly structured program is to promote academic growth as well as providing an extended day for students to engage in fun and supervised activities.

Our camp programming works with each child's IEP, and provides additional focus on strengthening of adaptive daily living skills, social skills, and self-esteem building. Our classrooms are small, with ratios 4/5 students to each certified special education teacher, allowing the behavioral and educational needs of each student to be met with care and compassion.

Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy also has a full time LICSW and clinical staff on board to assist in providing support within the therapeutic milieu. In addition, the Executive Director, Academic Director, and Program Coordinator work closely with the students and staff members.
