CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. Each weekday morning, Maker will post a new project or activity on their Google+ page—30 things to make over six weeks. Each weekday afternoon at 2 PM, tune in to a live Google+ Hangout On Air to meet expert makers who create amazing things.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Come and enjoy the vast scientific experiences here on campus while also enjoying the fun and active environment of camp. During this week, the children will have an opportunity to dabble in many different scientific experiences. These experiences will range from classification of the plants on campus to the physics of our playground equipment. The children will spend each morning enjoying a team building activity, a short lesson on the topic of the day, free play, and even some sports. In the afternoon, the children will spend time participating in a hands on activity that will correlate with the morning’s lesson.

Cost of FULL WEEK participation is $250 for the week (non-refundable).

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Drama Camp is run and instructed by Amy Kimball, who has worked in the summer camp setting for 32 summers. She directed Summer Camp for 20 summers. Amy is an experienced Clown, Mime, Performer, Director, Certified Teacher and has had every role at camp from counselor to unit head to specialist to Director. Amy has her BA in Education and has directed over 15 theatrical productions over the years. She will be working with help from a talented staff of performers who have expertise in singing and acting. Amy's staff will go through a camp staff orientation to understand their roles and responsibilities as counselors.

Our philosophy is for campers to create, learn, enjoy and work together all in a positive setting. Drama camp is about process but at the end of the week, the campers will perform for their friends and families.

CAMP FACILITIES: At 200 feet, the Oliver Hazard Perry is the first ocean-going full-rigged ship to be built in the U.S. in over 100 years. It is the largest civilian sail training vessel in America. She has berths for 49 people overnight, and with 17 crew, a low camper to crew ratio creates a safe and fun environment. The ship is equipped with a steel hull, 3 masts, with square sails on all three masts, 20 sails totaling 14,000 square feet, and 7 miles of rope and wire. The engines run on a bio-diesel blend, and the ship is equipped with a modern galley (on-board kitchen), central air, an on-deck science lab, a library and wheel-chair accessibility above and below decks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With 17 professional crew and a capacity for 30-34 campers, our program promotes a dynamic and safe learning environment with a 2:1 ratio of campers to instructors. Campers will feel the thrill of steering a 500-ton ship, and learn to work the yards and sails while exploring the beautiful coasts of New England. They will learn safety at sea and perform important safety drills while acquiring skills in navigation, seamanship, sail handling, knots, and the language of the boat. Campers will explore the underwater world through snorkeling. They will understand wind, waves, tides and the ecology of sandy and rocky seashores. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky will serve as the backdrop for this incredible experience, in addition to marine phosphorescence, dolphins and whales. Teamwork is an integral part of success onboard the boat, and in addition to learning about themselves, and achieving things they never imagined, they will make friendships to last a lifetime.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: In addition to witnessing the natural magic of the ocean and its inhabitants, each student crew will make friendships to last a lifetime. Campers will take responsibility for themselves and their fellow shipmates, learning to work as a team with others as they hoist and brace the yards on the ship's 130-foot tall rig and apply acquired navigational skills to guide the ship's course on a voyage of discovery.

They also help out the Instructor and participate in ongoing program evaluation and improvement. This is like a first-time job experience for most youth. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Brimmer and May Day Camp is specifically designed with the younger child in mind. Our goal is to enrich your child's summer experience through play, success, and engagement with other children and with our committed staff. All of our Head Counselors and Specialty Counselors are over 21 years old and most specialize in early childhood education and development. Every day each child from 3 to 10 years old will do a variety of activities: Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, Drama, Lego, Clay, Nature, Swimming.

Every child at Brimmer and May Day Camp swims every day in our heated pool and no one needs to come to camp knowing how to swim. We will teach your child how to swim!

Our Specialty Programs are taught by Brimmer and May faculty who have designed their program to enhance your child's summer learning in a creative way. They will be encouraged to attempt new things, test themselves and learn new stuff! They will get an hour of free swim in our heated pool every day.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Counselor-in-Training program at Brimmer and May will provide an opportunity for students entering ninth and tenth grade to teach and work with younger campers as apprentice counselors while learning the ropes. CITs (also known as Campers-in-Transition) are under the supervision and direction of experienced professional staff. CITs will get an opportunity to work with each age group, and when appropriate, be asked to lead activities. Weekly meetings provide feedback and guidance throughout the summer.

CIT applicants must be available for the full camp day (8:15-4:15 p.m.) and can select either a full summer (all 8 weeks of the program) or either of two four-week sessions (first or second half of summer). CIT's are also required to attend pre-camp staff orientation.

Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. You will be responsible for leading groups of children through their daily activities. Applicant will also be responsible for supervising other staff members. CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Students may apply for a need based scholarship. Scholarship is based on a lot of factors including availability of funds. Application does not guarantee a scholarship. Eligibility Criteria: Must be a student living in the U.S., must have a copy of the most recent U.S. IRS Tax Return. Preference will be given to student recommendations by Partner Schools. Our Nonprofit DataEthics4All 501(c)(3) EIN 85-3148963 provides need based Scholarships to Students to participate in the STEAM in AI Program based on the availability of funds.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Start a STEAM in AI Chapter to find all year round opportunities for students to learn artificial intelligence and ethics, leadership and volunteering. CAMP FACILITIES: KSA's gorgeous property features a 200 acre lake, a 15,000 square foot main lodge, 20,000 square foot field house, new bunks and brand new courts and fields. Kutsher's has 9 outdoor tennis courts on site, along with 4 outdoor and two indoor basketball courts. We also have 3 baseball fields, a soccer field, lacrosse field, golf range, beach volleyball court, hockey rink and full service fitness center.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in Monticello, New York in 1968 by Milton Kutsher and legendary college basketball coach Clair Bee, Kutsher's Sports Academy was the first camp to offer an entirely elective sports program. KSA is ACA accredited and has been in the CampRatingz top ten camps in the nation for two years running. The pride and joy of Kutsher's Sports Academy, and what sets it apart from any other camp, is its coaching staff. KSA has professional coaches in every sport area that they offer, and all bring qualifications that make them the top coaches in their respective areas. Our entirely elective program ensures that each camper is happy with all of their activities, and that every one at a sport area wants to participate and have fun together!

AlphaStar Academy mainly considers teaching, competition, and education background as well as passion and dedication for the subject when hiring full-time and part-time teachers.

We hire our instructors and TAs from a pool of High School, College, Ph.D. students, school teachers, and University Professors. Our faculty have teaching/coaching/tutoring experience and have expertise in the subject area, regardless of their age.

They have participation and/or training experience in national/international math competitions and Olympiads in Math, CS, and Physics such as USAMO, USACO, USAPhO, IMO, IOI, and IPhO.

In 2021, up to $40,000 will be given as course credit. Each winner can use $2,000 course credit for online AlphaStar Math courses/camps for one year.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Rising 10th to 12th grade students may apply for Counselor in Training (CIT) positions. For some students this will be like a first job experience. Our CITs are also full participants in the program topic of their choosing.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Lead instructor and junior counselor positions are available for the summer months.

CAMP FACILITIES: The academic environment at Wheelock provides an appropriate facility for scientific experiments. Perhaps just as importantly, it also gives students an introduction to college life. One afternoon of camp will include a tour of Wheelock's classrooms, resource center, dorm rooms, library, theater, campus store, dining hall, and other campus buildings. Students will also have an opportunity to speak with undergraduates and faculty from Wheelock and faculty from other institutions throughout the Colleges of the Fenway, as well as members of the Academic Advising and Admissions offices.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: STEM in the City is run by an outstanding team of education professionals from Wheelock College, led by Dr. Ellen Faszewski, Wheelock College professor of biology and co-chair of the Math and Science Department. The team also includes college student counselors, as well as Wheelock staff and faculty.
