BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy is a co-ed Reform Jewish camp focusing on science and technology programming for children entering grades 5-10. Campers live, learn and play in a prestigious boarding school setting, spending two weeks exploring specialties such as robotics, video game design, the earth and sky, digital film production, 3D animation, biology, programming and coding, chemistry, and start-up nation. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our staff use professionally-developed curricula and lesson plans to guide campers in bringing to life the dreams that capture their imaginations. Using a hands-on, project-based approach, campers learn and create in a collaborative environment. Campers choose from one of workshops, where they spend 2½ hours each day working on projects they design:

Have you ever envisioned participating in a National or International Math Olympiad? Then this prep track is for you! Blast off to exciting math mental challenges that will cover a wide range of constellations including Algebra, Geometry, Combinatorics, Number Theory and more! This track will benefit students in middle school and high school who are especially interested in regional, state and international math competitions for the following school year. With the guidance of former math coaches and professors you will soon be set to face the galactic challenges of these math competitions with no fear. The skies are the limit!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The faculty consists of renowned lecturers, veterans in International Mathematical Olympiads (IMO) and Olympiad coaches, who have successful careers in math, science, and technology, with many years of classroom teaching experiences. Among them are: Dr. Kevin Wang, founder of Areteem and Math Zoom, former IMO China Team member, former math faculty at UC Irvine and UCLA; Dr. Harold B. Reiter, math professor at UNCC, who is very well known and well respected in math education and math competitions. The camp curriculum will cover some or all of the following topics: For Math: Modular arithmetic, Numbers and their digits & divisors, Basic and advanced counting strategies, Combinatorics, Polynomials and their coefficients & zeros, Algebraic inequalities and other techniques, Special angles and regular polygons, Centers of triangles, Collinearity and concurrency, Trigonometry, Vector and Coordinates.
Various problem solving techniques will be introduced, as well as Math contest strategies. For Science: Scientific research methodologies, principles in mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, thermodynamics, etc., and real world applications such as roller coaster theory (you can learn to design your own roller coaster and build it at the camp!). For English as Second Language (ESL) students, there are also topics related to American culture and literature.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T. (Counselor In Training Program): The C.I.T. program gives our most mature campers, who are entering the 8th and 9th grades, a feel for what it take to be a counselor, while still having the opportunity to participate in all of the great activities at Maplewood.
In their role as a Maplewood C.I.T. they will have the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence that will help them to become effective leaders and positive role models.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. You will be responsible for leading groups of children through their daily activities. Applicant will also be responsible for supervising other staff members. Individuals must have prior experience working with children.
If you enjoy working with children; the outdoors; environments that are rewarding and challenging then this is the job for you. Camp dates are June 29-August 21. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.
The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. CAMP FACILITIES: Lawrence Academy is a private boarding high school that offers summer programs. Summer programs are open to ages 3.5-17.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The 100-acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 30 day camp offerings for children entering grades K–12 and an overnight English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French immersion program for American and international students. Summer Programs at Lawrence Academy are divided into three types: Day Camp, Specialty Camps, and Sports Camps. We embrace the outdoors whether it is to launch rockets, build bridges, loose trebuchets, explore coastal waters, whale watch, model the inner solar system, use telescopes, play team games, collect samples, make observations, or operate a hydraulic machine.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located 2 hours west of Boston, and 30 minutes east of New York state in the Berkshire Mountains. Our physical property encompasses over 100 acres of mountainous, preserved wetlands. Please check out our gallery on our website for photos.
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 45 cabins, with the boys bunks on one half and the girls bunks on the other. All of our facilities are state of the art including a brand new gymnastics center, indoor field house including basketball courts along with a dance studio and weights room. Our outdoor amphitheater is set in the pines, and 11 tennis courts are set in the mountains.
Our lake accommodates waterskiing, wake boarding, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, and an inflatable obstacle course. The lodge has a stage for all theatrical performances, as well as a movie theater and all purpose facility for the entire camp.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We are an ACA-accredited camp that offers extensive facilities, and an array of varied and flexible programming for children ages 4 - 15. Through our wide variety of sports, arts, science, architecture, field trips, cooking, leadership, outdoor adventure and general camps, we support and challenge campers physical, social, emotional, and intellectual of growth in an environment committed to safety.
We invite our campers to discover new possibilities, be inquisitive and make new friends. Each camp program is developed by an experienced educator who serves as the program director and is supported by a team of counselors. Summer at Park's professional and creative team of 100 individuals is comprised of former Park School students, campers, and college students who embody the spirit of summer camp.
All staff are committed to working hard, are passionate about teaching and coaching children, support families and their communities, and make summers at Park endlessly magical.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our Counselor in Training program is a 4-week commitment offered to rising 9th and 10th grade boys and girls who wish to sharpen their leadership abilities, and develop the skills needed to be a counselor.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Financial assistance is available and additional information can be found on our website. If you have specific questions, please contact our office directly.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Since 1968, KSA has offered children ages 7-17 the opportunity to learn, play and improve in the sports they love. Campers enjoy the best summers of their lives in a fun, caring, and traditional camp environment. All of our programs are directed by trained and professional college and high school instructors. We are committed to providing campers with the opportunity to participate, play, and learn every single day. Since campers are able to choose their own schedule, they are constantly excited about what the day has to offer. This important blend of learning and fun has always been the foundation of our program. A summer at KSA is the opportunity of a lifetime. The level of instruction found in a specialty camp mixed with the spirit, camaraderie and fun of a traditional camp - this is what makes KSA so special.

CAMP LOCATION: We're located on a beautiful lakefront property in the Berkshire region of Massachusetts, about 2 hours from both Boston and New York City.

CAMP FACILITIES: KSA's gorgeous property features a 200 acre lake, a 15,000 square foot main lodge, 20,000 square foot field house, new bunks and brand new courts and fields. Kutsher's has 9 outdoor tennis courts on site, along with 4 outdoor and two indoor basketball courts. We also have 3 baseball fields, a soccer field, lacrosse field, golf range, beach volleyball court, hockey rink and full service fitness center.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in Monticello, New York in 1968 by Milton Kutsher and legendary college basketball coach Clair Bee, Kutsher's Sports Academy was the first camp to offer an entirely elective sports program. KSA is ACA accredited and has been in the CampRatingz top ten camps in the nation for two years running. The pride and joy of Kutsher's Sports Academy, and what sets it apart from any other camp, is its coaching staff. KSA has professional coaches in every sport area that they offer, and all bring qualifications that make them the top coaches in their respective areas. Our entirely elective program ensures that each camper is happy with all of their activities, and that every one at a sport area wants to participate and have fun together!
