BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: A STEM Career and College Awareness Experience for Rising 8th and 9th Graders
Each day of this fun and innovative camp features both an excursion to a Boston-area company, organization, or field site that highlights a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines and a related classroom lab activity. In addition, campers will begin to explore college life and academics through campus tours and discussions with college students and staff.

CAMP FACILITIES: The academic environment at Wheelock provides an appropriate facility for scientific experiments. Perhaps just as importantly, it also gives students an introduction to college life. One afternoon of camp will include a tour of Wheelock's classrooms, resource center, dorm rooms, library, theater, campus store, dining hall, and other campus buildings. Students will also have an opportunity to speak with undergraduates and faculty from Wheelock and faculty from other institutions throughout the Colleges of the Fenway, as well as members of the Academic Advising and Admissions offices.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Are you interested in high-speed math competitions like MathCounts, the AMCs, AIME and ARML? Have you ever envisioned participating in a National or International Math Olympiad? Then this prep track is for you! Blast off to exciting math mental challenges that will cover a wide range of constellations including Algebra, Geometry, Combinatorics, Number Theory and more! This track will benefit students in middle school and high school who are especially interested in regional, state and international math competitions for the following school year. With the guidance of former math coaches and professors you will soon be set to face the galactic challenges of these math competitions with no fear. The skies are the limit!
Areteem Institute Summer Camps also offers electives in Scientific Research, Science Fiction and Preparation for Science and Engineering Fairs. English as a Second Language course is also available for international students.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The faculty consists of renowned lecturers, veterans in International Mathematical Olympiads (IMO) and Olympiad coaches, who have successful careers in math, science, and technology, with many years of classroom teaching experiences. Among them are: Dr. Kevin Wang, founder of Areteem and Math Zoom, former IMO China Team member, former math faculty at UC Irvine and UCLA; Dr. Harold B. Reiter, math professor at UNCC, who is very well known and well respected in math education and math competitions. The camp curriculum will cover some or all of the following topics: For Math: Modular arithmetic, Numbers and their digits & divisors, Basic and advanced counting strategies, Combinatorics, Polynomials and their coefficients & zeros, Algebraic inequalities and other techniques, Special angles and regular polygons, Centers of triangles, Collinearity and concurrency, Trigonometry, Vector and Coordinates.
Various problem solving techniques will be introduced, as well as Math contest strategies. For Science: Scientific research methodologies, principles in mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, thermodynamics, etc., and real world applications such as roller coaster theory (you can learn to design your own roller coaster and build it at the camp!). For English as Second Language (ESL) students, there are also topics related to American culture and literature.

Projects include a 30-second commercial and a 10-minute short film, documentary, or stop action.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SPOTLIGHT aims to engage today's youth in the discovery of theatre's many components. In an exciting, non-competitive, fun filled environment, we strive to enrich appreciation for Theater Arts through education, creativity, and passion. Participants receive theatre arts training both on stage and backstage which strives to foster each individual's talents and aspirations with an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth.
THE SPOTLIGHT THEATER WORKSHOP was designed not only to be a lot of fun, but to also focus on strengthening the skills of our participants and teaching them new and exciting elements involved in the performing arts. Some of our classes will include acting, singing, dancing, technical theater, improv, and auditioning skills. Also, we're very excited about incorporating film/television acting and production into the workshop!
Monologues will also be worked on during class time so that upon completion of the program, participants will be comfortable using their pieces at auditions in the future. There will also be many outdoor activities, free time, and special guests!
Our staff consists of various professional theater artists who are extremely passionate about both performing and teaching their skills to others! See you soon!

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: At MehtA+, we ignite student passion for engineering. CAMP FACILITIES: Lawrence Academy is a private boarding high school that offers summer programs. Empow’s Minecraft Camp is the ultimate week-long learning adventure! Our camps are tailored to all skill levels, whether you’re just starting out your explorations or you already know you’re way around creepers. We start by introducing campers to Redstone, a special kind of element that mimics electricity almost perfectly. Campers of nearly any skill level can have fun building circuit boards, and even making a very simple computer inside Minecraft. As they master Redstone skills, we offer challenges that teach key concepts in programming, design, electrical engineering, and architecture, all while using teamwork and social skills. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Active Learning Services, Ltd operates enrichment programs designed to stimulate creative thinking, improve thinking, logic and memory skills and give children "thinking alternatives" to sports camps and other summer programs. Our programs include chess programs and camps thru USA Chess, Our Gamebuilder Video Game Creation Programs and our Active Learning Computer Enrichment Programs.
Our staff is, comprised of the best children's chess instructors in North America! The USA Chess camps are uniquely qualified to cater to the needs of the advanced scholastic player as well as the true beginner. USA Chess hit its first milestone in the summer of 2000 producing the largest chess camp ever held in the United States, with more than 250 students enrolled. What was most surprising, however, was the amount of absolute beginners in attendance - more than 50% of the total enrollment was just starting to play chess. This realization led to the national rollout tour of 100 camps in more than 70 cities. The annual tours have been immensely successful with several thousand campers attending this year alone.
USA Chess thrives on providing a structured environment that is extremely conducive to learning chess. BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy, is a day camp located in a lovely residential neighborhood in North Framingham, Massachusetts. We are adjacent to Callahan State Park, and easily accessible to a wide variety of local activities and points of interest in MetroWest.
We focus on outdoor activities that include swimming, basketball, gardening, as well as meeting the academic challenges of our campers to prevent substantial regression according to their DESE IEP.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: The successes of Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy are due to the integration of a fun, outdoors activity based program and academic review of skills learned during the past school year. All of the camp programming has been designed to provide the whole child with a fun summer program.
Reed Academy students present with a variety of educational levels and social/ emotional needs, (i.e., high functioning A.S.D., depression, anxiety, school phobia, neurologically based learning challenges, bi-polar/mood disorder, trauma, reactive attachment disorder. We specialize in work with complicated children, providing educational, social skills, and therapeutic services (individual and group).
Student success at Reed Academy is attributed to the integration within our therapeutic milieu of educational programming, clinical and family support services, and a staff who believe in each student who crosses Reed Academy's threshold.

CAMP FACILITIES: We are a 32 room facility with classrooms, comfortable individual and group therapy spaces, a breakfast room, a living room for morning meeting, as well as a Nurse's office.
There is also an outdoor play space, garden, and an outdoor pool, basketball court, and a gym/fitness center. We also have use of 500 acres of conservation land for learning and fitness.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy was established in 1975, to provide a camp-like atmosphere where boys, ages 6-18 have a program where they can flourish with summer activities, and still maintain the skills that they have been learning throughout the school year.
Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy has grown to be a full year program. Reed Academy, the 12 month program is dedicated to helping boys with social and emotional needs. The highly structured program is to promote academic growth as well as providing an extended day for students to engage in fun and supervised activities.
Our camp programming works with each child's IEP, and provides additional focus on strengthening of adaptive daily living skills, social skills, and self-esteem building. Our classrooms are small, with ratios 4/5 students to each certified special education teacher, allowing the behavioral and educational needs of each student to be met with care and compassion.
Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy also has a full time LICSW and clinical staff on board to assist in providing support within the therapeutic milieu. In addition, the Executive Director, Academic Director, and Program Coordinator work closely with the students and staff members.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Camp Sunshine, dba Reed Academy, will review each case separately, based on student need.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We strive to include family members in activities and clinical sessions as they are able.

Our small group ratio of 6:1 ensures each camper gets personal attention and enthusiastic support to address their passions and interests.
The Learnatory Esports & Coding STEAM Camps are for those passionate about video games and excited to code! YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Through The Learnatory In-School, After-School, Home-School, Weekend, Summer Camps, and online programs, The Learnatory, has served over 12,000 college-bound youth and teens in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City effectively and significantly boost their academic, personal, and career development. We offer over 50 various STEAM courses and programs. Our virtual program began in the Summer, 2020 and will continue to operate to serve more young people nationwide.

Each camper receives a proprietary PEP (Prescribed Educational Plan) for every class they take that states exactly what skills they will learn and documents at the end how well they learned them.
Esports camps are designed for those passionate about video games because research shows “Gamers are more likely to pursue high-paying careers in the lucrative STEM/STEAM fields than non-gamers.”
Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for kids to understand and be able to work with and understand the technology around them.
