CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Rising 10th to 12th-grade students may apply for our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. CITs participate fully in the program they choose. They also help out the Instructor and participate in ongoing program evaluation and improvement. This is like a first-time job experience for most youth. They will learn what it takes to be an effective employee.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SPOTLIGHT aims to engage today's youth in the discovery of theatre's many components. In an exciting, non-competitive, fun filled environment, we strive to enrich appreciation for Theater Arts through education, creativity, and passion. Participants receive theatre arts training both on stage and backstage which strives to foster each individual's talents and aspirations with an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth.

THE SPOTLIGHT THEATER WORKSHOP was designed not only to be a lot of fun, but to also focus on strengthening the skills of our participants and teaching them new and exciting elements involved in the performing arts. Some of our classes will include acting, singing, dancing, technical theater, improv, and auditioning skills. Also, we're very excited about incorporating film/television acting and production into the workshop!

Monologues will also be worked on during class time so that upon completion of the program, participants will be comfortable using their pieces at auditions in the future. There will also be many outdoor activities, free time, and special guests!

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "The Premier Soccer Training System" - implements our step by step process of physical technique DEMONSTRATIONS, You then IMITATE these demonstrated skills/techniques in training, we then give you the opportunity to EXECUTE these skills in competition with our continued expert guidance and coaching. "The PSTS" is offered at all our Soccer Camps in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

Our camp programming works with each child's IEP, and provides additional focus on strengthening of adaptive daily living skills, social skills, and self-esteem building. CAMP FACILITIES: At 200 feet, the Oliver Hazard Perry is the first ocean-going full-rigged ship to be built in the U.S. in over 100 years. It is the largest civilian sail training vessel in America. She has berths for 49 people overnight, and with 17 crew, a low camper to crew ratio creates a safe and fun environment. The ship is equipped with a steel hull, 3 masts, with square sails on all three masts, 20 sails totaling 14,000 square feet, and 7 miles of rope and wire. The engines run on a bio-diesel blend, and the ship is equipped with a modern galley (on-board kitchen), central air, an on-deck science lab, a library and wheel-chair accessibility above and below decks.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: With 17 professional crew and a capacity for 30-34 campers, our program promotes a dynamic and safe learning environment with a 2:1 ratio of campers to instructors. Campers will feel the thrill of steering a 500-ton ship, and learn to work the yards and sails while exploring the beautiful coasts of New England. They will learn safety at sea and perform important safety drills while acquiring skills in navigation, seamanship, sail handling, knots, and the language of the boat. Campers will explore the underwater world through snorkeling. They will understand wind, waves, tides and the ecology of sandy and rocky seashores. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky will serve as the backdrop for this incredible experience, in addition to marine phosphorescence, dolphins and whales. Teamwork is an integral part of success onboard the boat, and in addition to learning about themselves, and achieving things they never imagined, they will make friendships to last a lifetime.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Come and enjoy the vast scientific experiences here on campus while also enjoying the fun and active environment of camp. During this week, the children will have an opportunity to dabble in many different scientific experiences. These experiences will range from classification of the plants on campus to the physics of our playground equipment. The children will spend each morning enjoying a team building activity, a short lesson on the topic of the day, free play, and even some sports. In the afternoon, the children will spend time participating in a hands on activity that will correlate with the morning’s lesson.

Cost of FULL WEEK participation is $250 for the week (non-refundable).

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 45 cabins, with the boys bunks on one half and the girls bunks on the other. All of our facilities are state of the art including a brand new gymnastics center, indoor field house including basketball courts along with a dance studio and weights room. Our outdoor amphitheater is set in the pines, and 11 tennis courts are set in the mountains.

Our lake accommodates waterskiing, wake boarding, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, and an inflatable obstacle course. The lodge has a stage for all theatrical performances, as well as a movie theater and all purpose facility for the entire camp.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Camp Lenox program includes Individual Sports, Team Sports, Creative Arts, Outdoor Education, and Water Sports. We pride ourselves on excellent instruction in every activity. CAMP FACILITIES: Lawrence Academy is a private boarding high school that offers summer programs. The campus has a swimming pool, 12 tennis courts, 3 indoor basketball courts, 8 athletic fields, a theater, dining hall, and numerous indoor air conditioned spaces. Summer programs are open to ages 3.5-17.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The 100-acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 30 day camp offerings for children entering grades K–12 and an overnight English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French immersion program for American and international students. Summer Programs at Lawrence Academy are divided into three types: Day Camp, Specialty Camps, and Sports Camps. We offer nine one-week camp sessions beginning June 22, and ending August 21, 2015 for children entering Kindergarten through grade 12. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Brimmer and May Day Camp is specifically designed with the younger child in mind. Our goal is to enrich your child's summer experience through play, success, and engagement with other children and with our committed staff. All of our Head Counselors and Specialty Counselors are over 21 years old and most specialize in early childhood education and development. Every day each child from 3 to 10 years old will do a variety of activities: Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, Drama, Lego, Clay, Nature, Swimming.

Every child at Brimmer and May Day Camp swims every day in our heated pool and no one needs to come to camp knowing how to swim. We will teach your child how to swim!

Our Specialty Programs are taught by Brimmer and May faculty who have designed their program to enhance your child's summer learning in a creative way. They will be encouraged to attempt new things, test themselves and learn new stuff! They will get an hour of free swim in our heated pool every day.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Counselor-in-Training program at Brimmer and May will provide an opportunity for students entering ninth and tenth grade to teach and work with younger campers as apprentice counselors while learning the ropes. CITs (also known as Campers-in-Transition) are under the supervision and direction of experienced professional staff. CITs will get an opportunity to work with each age group, and when appropriate, be asked to lead activities. Weekly meetings provide feedback and guidance throughout the summer.

CIT applicants must be available for the full camp day (8:15-4:15 p.m.) and can select either a full summer (all 8 weeks of the program) or either of two four-week sessions (first or second half of summer). CIT's are also required to attend pre-camp staff orientation.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. Accredited Day Camp in South Easton, MA seeks teachers or individuals with education certification to work with children ages 3-14. You will be responsible for leading groups of children through their daily activities. Applicant will also be responsible for supervising other staff members.
