BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy is a co-ed Reform Jewish camp focusing on science and technology programming for children entering grades 5-10. Campers live, learn and play in a prestigious boarding school setting, spending two weeks exploring specialties such as robotics, video game design, the earth and sky, digital film production, 3D animation, biology, programming and coding, chemistry, and start-up nation. CAMP FACILITIES: Modern dorms with bathrooms on each hall, well-equipped science laboratories, state-of-the-art computer and media labs, brand new air-conditioned dining hall, two indoor gyms, numerous outdoor playing fields, 500-seat performing arts center with digital music studio, fully-wired (and wireless) library with over 30,000 volumes, numerous hiking trails and a ropes challenge course.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our staff use professionally-developed curricula and lesson plans to guide campers in bringing to life the dreams that capture their imaginations. Using a hands-on, project-based approach, campers learn and create in a collaborative environment. Campers choose from one of workshops, where they spend 2½ hours each day working on projects they design:

CAMP FACILITIES: The classrooms and laboratories have lab benches situated by the windows so that students can conduct experiments in optimal lighting, maple cabinets and black counter tops, and Smart Boards for interactive teaching. CAMP FACILITIES: Our 55 acre campus houses numerous athletic fields, an outdoor pool, archery range, auditorium, tennis courts, and numerous buildings for our specialist activities.

We embrace the outdoors whether it is to launch rockets, build bridges, loose trebuchets, explore coastal waters, whale watch, model the inner solar system, use telescopes, play team games, collect samples, make observations, or operate a hydraulic machine.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Brimmer and May Day Camp is specifically designed with the younger child in mind. Our goal is to enrich your child's summer experience through play, success, and engagement with other children and with our committed staff. All of our Head Counselors and Specialty Counselors are over 21 years old and most specialize in early childhood education and development. Every day each child from 3 to 10 years old will do a variety of activities: Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, Drama, Lego, Clay, Nature, Swimming.
Every child at Brimmer and May Day Camp swims every day in our heated pool and no one needs to come to camp knowing how to swim. We will teach your child how to swim!
Our Specialty Programs are taught by Brimmer and May faculty who have designed their program to enhance your child's summer learning in a creative way. They will be encouraged to attempt new things, test themselves and learn new stuff! They will get an hour of free swim in our heated pool every day.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Counselor-in-Training program at Brimmer and May will provide an opportunity for students entering ninth and tenth grade to teach and work with younger campers as apprentice counselors while learning the ropes. CITs (also known as Campers-in-Transition) are under the supervision and direction of experienced professional staff. CITs will get an opportunity to work with each age group, and when appropriate, be asked to lead activities. Weekly meetings provide feedback and guidance throughout the summer.
CIT applicants must be available for the full camp day (8:15-4:15 p.m.) and can select either a full summer (all 8 weeks of the program) or either of two four-week sessions (first or second half of summer). CIT's are also required to attend pre-camp staff orientation.

CAMP LOCATION: 3 hours from NYC and Boston in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. 10 minutes outside Pittsfield and 20 minutes from Lenox and Tanglewood.
CAMP FACILITIES: 170 acres, 2 lakes and a heated pool, new dining hall, large gymnastics center, clay and hard tennis courts, art center, science center, theater, 20 cabins, large level camp.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Emerson is a premiere, overnight summer camp for girls & boys age 7-15. Campers design their own programs from 50+ activities including: athletics, visual arts, performing arts, watersports, swimming in a heated pool, wilderness and our Step Beyond Program - cooking, science, movie making, rocketry, CO2 race cars, engineering and More! We are known for our exceptional staff who give personal attention to each child. Emerson campers are creative, intelligent and kind. CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Students may apply for a need based scholarship. Scholarship is based on a lot of factors including availability of funds. Application does not guarantee a scholarship. Eligibility Criteria: Must be a student living in the U.S., must have a copy of the most recent U.S. IRS Tax Return. Preference will be given to student recommendations by Partner Schools. Our Nonprofit DataEthics4All 501(c)(3) EIN 85-3148963 provides need based Scholarships to Students to participate in the STEAM in AI Program based on the availability of funds.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Start a STEAM in AI Chapter to find all year round opportunities for students to learn artificial intelligence and ethics, leadership and volunteering. This school is a virtual school and offers classes nationwide. We have 1-hour classes, summer camp, holiday and school break camps. Lessons include typing, coding, math, science, arts and learning the Google programs. Classes are designed for K-5.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Our summer camps, holiday and school break camps are virtual and run for 2.5 hours. Then we have our 1-hour classes available all year long. Students enrich their computer science skills in our program. Typing, Coding, Arts, Math and Google program instruction are key. Just an idea of the fun: Students use computer arts to design a POKEMON, MINECRAFT, ROBLOX or other favorite theme while learning Google Slides or during our ART sessions. Typing is a very important skill to learn and students are taught the correct way to type over a series of classes.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Special Needs are welcome.

CAMP FACILITIES: One in-person camp will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in July 2025, located in Sussex County, DE.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: This program can also be delivered through our TUTORING service by appointment during the summer.

Online camps such as summer, holiday and school break camps run for 2.5 hours and cost $55 for the session.
1-hour classes run all year long and currently cost $20 per class.
